Performance Information
EM has worked hard to develop a high energy show that fits comfortably in any environment. Songs will change from time to time as EM continues to develop new and entertaining performances. Often, sets can be tailored to fit an event. We understand that different audiences have different attention spans, and can adjust our performances accordingly!
For smaller venues: don't worry! We're pretty flexible. For our best performance we prefer a space roughly 20 feet by 15 feet for our own set up (B likes to dance around), but we can squeeze a good bit tighter if we have to. We're used to playing libraries and such, so we can typically work with whatever is available.
EM can provide our own sound system for groups up to about 100. We will need access to several clean electrical outlets within 10 feet of our performance location.
For events expecting more than 100 people or held outside, the client may be responsible for providing an appropriate sound system and sound technician. The minimum requirements are:
- At least 2 clean outlets within 10 feet
- Five direct boxes (in some cases just XLR connections are sufficient for two of these connections)
- Three microphones on boom stands
- Two monitors - separate mixes are appreciated but not necessary
- Front of house system sufficient to project the performers clearly (drums, keyboards, guitars, bass and vocals).
For outside events sufficient protection from the elements is required. We're pretty tough, but our electronics HATE to be rained on!
