| B Bagby and Jeff Hofmann first started playing together
in 1988 in a band called Deep Blue Dream. While the band wasn't
that successful it provided them both with a deep passion for musical
performance. Deep Blue Dream disbanded in 1991 after having
recorded two albums of original music. Each member went on to
pursue their own dreams.
In 2004 Jeff and B found themselves in the same place at the same
time, and realized they had a growing love for children's music.
Soon, Einstein's Monkey was formed and in 2005 they began playing for
the public.
Einstein's Monkey is a blend of great music and music education.
Performances are punctuated with discussions about the instruments they
play in their songs. Einstein's Monkey also does a primarily
education based performance where time is equally split between playing
great songs and teaching the audience about instrument families as well
as concepts of rhythm, melody and harmony. |
